    Stop to think, drink some water or answer a question. The script holds still until you start again.

  • Finds your place after an ad-lib

    Say something that isn’t in the script and carry on. When you come back to the words, a longer phrase helps it find the spot.

  • Opens the script you already have

    Write in the editor, paste your notes, or import a document. Without an account, start with the demo script.

    Basic voice tracking uses your browser’s own speech service, in Chrome, Edge or Safari. VoiceFollow Pro is a cloud engine that also uses names and unusual words from your script. Up to 15 trial minutes of VoiceFollow Pro each month, subject to available trial capacity.

  3. Read at your own pace

    It matches the words it hears to your script and keeps your line on the eyeline. Pause and it waits. Scroll by hand at any time to re-anchor. Results vary with your microphone, voice and connection.

What’s the difference between Basic and VoiceFollow Pro?

Basic uses the speech recognition already in your browser. It’s free, available without a Wordtandem usage cap where your browser supports it. VoiceFollow Pro uses a cloud speech engine with vocabulary hints from names and distinctive terms in your script. Recognition varies with your microphone, speech and connection; try a short read with each engine.

What counts against my VoiceFollow Pro hours?

Only the time it spends actually listening. Pause and the clock stops. Basic never counts.

What happens if I run out of hours?

VoiceFollow Pro stops until your allowance renews: on a paid plan, on your billing date; on the free plan, on the first day of the next month (UTC). If your account was opened before these terms were published on October 15, 2026, a paid allowance keeps renewing on the 1st of each month (UTC) until your first billing date on or after November 5, 2026. Basic remains available without a Wordtandem usage cap where your browser supports it. You can also use Auto or Manual scrolling.

Does my audio leave my building?

With VoiceFollow Pro, yes. Your microphone audio goes to Deepgram, our speech-to-text provider, for one purpose: turning speech into text so the prompter can follow your place. We opt every request out of Deepgram’s model-improvement program; the audio is processed only for that request. With Basic, the audio never reaches us or Deepgram at all. It is handled by the speech recognition built into your browser, under your browser vendor’s own privacy policy. The privacy policy has the full detail.
